I bought this from America when I'd had my son in Jan 2020 and used again in 2022. As it's hospital grade no milk touches the pump so that is absolutely fine and only used for 446 hrs see photo. I've got every single extra bit you'd need for pumping but obviously the guidance is bin those and get new ones.

(The thought of all that plastic being thrown makes me sad). I donated to the milk bank in both pp periods, so was tested for Blood borne viruses x2 and in each pregnancy and in my work in the medical field. It is a bit dusty as it's sat in a box unloved. I will bag up the parts in two separate sets as I have both new and old parts and they have the diaphragm in slightly different places. Because many breast pumps are open systems, which means that they do not contain a barrier between the milk collection kit and the pump mechanism, we require all used breast pumps to be sterilized and this sterilization be noted in the description of your item. I have sterilised this despite it not needing it as its a closed system and never been used as a pump.
